POWER-ONLY FREIGHT
Drop-and-hook capacity, trailer repositioning, and yard moves. Flexible tractor power without trailer procurement.
About This Service
Power-Only, Explained
Power-only means you provide the trailer and we provide the tractor and driver to pull it. It's the cleanest way for shippers with their own trailer fleet to scale capacity without buying or leasing more tractors. The trailer stays where you need it — preloaded, at a customer dock, or staged at a distribution center — and our driver hooks and rolls.
It's the equipment of choice for high-volume distribution operations, manufacturers running drop-and-hook with retailers, and shippers who keep trailer pools at strategic points across the country. Drivers spend less time at docks, dock workers stay busy loading instead of waiting, and lane productivity goes up.
We vet the carrier the same way we vet any other booking: authority, insurance, safety rating, and clean inspection history. Then we confirm tractor specs, trailer compatibility, and the exact yard, gate, and trailer number with the driver before dispatch.

Features & Benefits
Why Shippers Choose This Service
Drop-and-hook eliminates dock dwell time. Drivers swap trailers in minutes and your dock crews stay productive.
Power-only typically rates below dry van because the carrier isn't supplying or maintaining the trailer.
When your in-house fleet is maxed out, power-only adds tractors fast without long-term commitments.
